We had a fun time celebrating Fathers Day with the Smith's at the pool Saturday and then Sunday Abigail woke up and cooked her dad some fried eggs and jalapeno bacon. Then we took a few guns and went shooting. We had Ben and Karen come with their girls for dinner and to visit. It was a great weekend! Even better that while the boys cooked us ladies dinner we went and help some puppies!
(We should have been cooking the father's dinner)
Father's Day post from the lovely facebook....
This guy right here is the BEST Father a girl could have! He is always ready to answer any question's a 9 year old can come up with, he can paint finger nails and massage her little feet better than any salon, gives her all the motorcycle rides she wants, he teaches her all the things her little heart desires, and he is ALWAYS there when she needs him and when she even when she thinks she doesn't. Happy Fathers Day! We Love you and appreciate everything you do for us. You are our world!
Happy Fathers Day to my great Father in Law! Thank you for all you do for Don, Abigail, and I! Since losing my father I know I can always come to you if I need fatherly advice and I appreciate the love you have for me and Abby. You are not only a great dad but you are a wonderful Grandpa and Abigail LOVES you with all her heart! Happy Fathers Day David Dad!
Another year, another fathers day with out my pops! I love him, I miss him, and I wish I could have another day to just sit by a lake and relax with him. I see him often in my dreams and feel him with me a lot. He is gone but he is still by my side every step of the way. He was a great dad and always full of the best come backs and had the best sense of humor! As I grew up we grew closer and I am happy that we had the close relationship with each other. I could talk to him about anything even when I knew he was going to tell me what i did not want to hear. Our relationship grew over the years he lived with us and I am so thankful to have had that time with him and wished I would have had more. Even when he would drive me nuts. He loved to embarrass us at every opportunity he got. He loved to cause trouble and get Don to play along with him. I miss that. I miss you Dad. Happy Fathers Day in Heaven!
