the BIG 40

Well it happened... I turned 40! We went up to Park City and enjoyed spending the weekend, Abby and I got pedicure's, and then Don threw me a birthday party which was supposed to be a surprise but somehow I figured it out. BUT I didn't know that he invited a lot of people to spend the night with us! And he brought my favorite cake from Mrs. Bakers Bakery! Both my families came and friends I had not seen for a long time. Was so fun! So so SO nice and thoughtful of the hubby to put this together for me! I just love him! My work ladies "Tea Bagged" my office!

Sea Quest

Sea Quest opened in the Layton Hills Mall a bit ago.
We decided to go for our anniversary.
Such a neat experience for Abigail.
Everything is hands on.
Her favorite was feeding the birds and the sting rays.
She can't wait to go again.
Best of all we ran into a few friends!

HA HA!! The bird flew away!

Wyoming

We went up to Wyoming to spend some time with my nephews Kaydon and Ashton. Their Uncle Keith passed away and we wanted to be able to be there for them and their Grandma and Aunt as they are a HUGE part of the boy's life. It was a nice weekend to be able to see them but under sad circumstances. Keith was a big part of their life and was such a great example to them. He will be missed dearly by the boys and by his wife and mother. I have felt heart broken for her as I could not imagine losing Don. Just heart breaking.

We brought Ashton home with us and got him on a shuttle to go home to Hurricane after a storm passed. Kaydon will now live in Wyoming with his Aunt.

New Year's Eve

GOOD BYE 2-16 and HELLO 2017

We had a great New Years Eve.
We took the Trax downtown and walked through City Creek, had a wonderful dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and then went to watch the Jazz play. We got tickets from our church and were able to take our nephew and Don's brother. The Jazz won! Abigail loved watching the game.
We then took Trax home and stayed up till midnight and had Abigail beat some pans together when the co=lock struck midnight.
We had a great time.
